This is a fun Textured dish scrubber that is wonderful for craft shows, giving as gifts and to make for yourself. Only 3 rnds to make the front and back piece, then place together and crochet a 4th rnd to assemble and your done.

I just made my first scrubbie following this video. I love that the projects are small and quick, and if I make a mistake it really doesn’t matter as long as it holds together! Love using scrubbies and now I love that I can make my own. I bought a 6-pack of sampler skeins in lovely colors and found that the little skeins make a scrubby each with a little leftover, wahoo.

I think I would prefer the lion brand. I saw one gal making some real nice scrubbies with a design like the one you used with the Lion brand. She was using rolls of tulle, which was a bit awkward to crochet with. They made great scrubbies though.

Is there an entry for this on Ravelry? I can’t seem to find it. And when I look up this yarn this pattern isn’t listed with under Pattern Ideas. I don’t crochet but I plan on trying with this pattern. I might be too ambitious in thinking that I can do it, but I’m going to try anyway. If it doesn’t work out I can just knit a scrubby instead. Thanks for the tutorial video. I definitely need it. Now I’m off to buy the pattern.

The Hobby Lobby Scrubology yarn a lot easier to work with. Red Heart has a scrub yarn, as well.

Could be the amount of tension you’re putting on your yarn! Hee stitches are very loose. If you make tight stitches, your puff will be smaller!

How long do the scrubbies last? I have a Scrub Daddy and get about 3 weeks out of it before it starts falling apart.

I made some around Christmas (it’s now July) and gave some to my aunts and I’ve been using the same one since. It’s just starting to get random strings where it caught on a fork or something. I put it in the dishwasher and it never smells bad like sponges do. I am making some more now for myself and at the request of family who also love them. They’re sturdy and wash really well.

@@kristindoherty3719 thank you for answering. I have since made 2, and these are definitely worth the time. I am going to make a few smaller ones as well as different colored ones for cleaning the bathroom. So happy to save resources with this idea!
