I totally love what you did in this video. I also loved your flippy flappy valentine. I spent all day yesterday making one. Amazing how complicated it was. I love making master boards! This has just given me reason to make even more!!! I use dictionaries and school books a lot (and I mean a LOT) so I always have an abundance of book page to use. I use the textbooks as glue pages, then shift them to master board fodder. I also have so much…SO MUCH…paper from my scrapbooking days that I am more than excited about using up as well. I see tons of tags or journal cards or belly bands or tuck spots in my future! I will be the mass making master!

Love the tags and gorgeous background. I just collected my toilet paper rolls to make a journal. I was inspired to make this by couple different artist.One, Lorri Marie Jenkins made hers by using natural nature items she found on her daily walks. She used rusty small washers, twigs, feather, real butterfly wings . It’s beautiful. The other artist used Tim Holtz products just as beautiful. Think tons more artist made these mini journals. My first ……..I flattened the rolls with my mini machine. That is all I did. Now need to cover them with scraps of paper.Most of all I need to collect or buy pressed flowers and leaves. Lol. Need to take a walk outside and get some skinny tiny twigs etc. think I need some egg shells for texture also. Anyway I love your work.

I love dying using onion skins, avocado, crepe paper and coffee. But prefer to use the sunshine. I have a Breville oven and can only do a few sheets at a time. Love everything you do. Today is dedicated to making pockets, tucks and belly bands for a couple of journals. I promised these some time ago. Take care.

I feel so connected to you- I love ice cream when it’s cold outside and I’ve been eating a lot of it lately! Plus I talk to myself when I’m working or crafting all the time!! Plus I totally agree that all collage (and crafting in general) decisions should be based on what you feel like doing at the time. Sometimes I’ll oven fry my papers but sometimes I just stack them in a disposable pan and let them dry in a corner. In about a week, I’ll check on them and flip them over or take out dried pages.

Morning Margreth, WOW, your long tags came out beautifully. Love the green colour and the Tim Holtz Field note stamps fitted in perfectly. Just wish they were here in South Africa, can't find them anywhere!!!! (sad face!!!!) Your "Getting to know me" videos were fabulous, it was lovely to put a face to those amazingly artistic hands, thank you for sharing a bit of yourself (and Tim) with us. Hi Margreth. I love masterboards an yours are lovely. TH does some lovely green Distress colours. I like all of the ones you've used today, but I also use Bundled Sage and Old Paper a lot. They are muted but beautiful.

I adore every thing about these tall tag journaling card belly band thingamajigs. Personally, I love when you pull out all of your supplies. You have them so you might as well use them, right?! Peeled Paint is my favorite Distress green. Luise Heinzl loves Forest Moss Oxide and it’s a good dark green that can be very grungy when water is added. I know you don’t like to get messy, but you may surprise yourself if you roll up your sleeves and play a little. Or…you will hate it;). Either way, you will learn something.
