It's also like one of only three things to happen to the MRT since the NSEWL and NEL

you'd actually be fairly wrong in that given that the CCL has a branch line that feeds into the mainline, which is fine for now but is likely gonna create problems once the CCL actually becomes... a circle. esp with marina bay and bayfront becoming important interchanges in the future, having 50% of the trains instead head towards dhoby ghaut is a little bit nightmarish.

@@cosmophanthom9760 well other than the fact that it's a triple interchange, it's right in the heart of marina south (which has plans to be developed, prlly a few years after the CCL is completed). I don't see why you don't think it'll be an important interchange, even if right now it's a rather desolate space (that's gotten ever so slightly busier with TEL3 opening)
