the three detectives coffee one was a literal question, does everyone want coffee? But then the quiz asked us what the first 2 ordered. They didn't order anything, it was ordered for them by the third detective. Literal when it suits you, but not when it doesn't. the answer should be they ordered nothing.

No, you misunderstood. The waiter asked each of them “are all of you ordering coffee” The first guy wanted coffee, but he couldn’t tell if the others would also choose coffee. So he said “I don’t know”. If he didn’t want coffee, he would have said “no”, because not everybody was ordering coffee. Same for the second guy. But, the third detective heard both of their answer and knew that they both wanted coffee.

I just have to say these "riddles" are absolutely awful. First of all the man did not even take a bite of the banana and secondly why do they all look non-human??? Wouldn't this make them all aliens? Lol these riddles are impossible to solve. I mean many of these are basically assumptions and they are still images pretty much. I have to assume he was going to eat the banana with the peel still on it. Saw another one like this as well that was ridiculously complicated.
