I went there last week. Rode White Lightning and the Challenger go-kart track. Didn't stay too long since we had dinner plans. White Lightning was everything I expected and then some. It's definitely an awesome ride. The Go-karts... are definitely not comfortable for tall people and they're actually kinda slow from my personal experience, though the latter issue may just be because I've been to some of those dedicated tracks with the higher-end karts and I'm just used to higher speeds (although even the family-fun center tracks I've been to felt faster).

This park was half the size it used to be back a decade ago I remember that. They expanded behind the skyscreamer when they built those two new coaster and made a better front entrance.

White Lightning was my first GCI (second was Thunderbhead at Dollywood), and its a fun woodie.

Also I had my 11th birthday at Fun Spot in 2015, and we marathoned White Lightning.

My advice. Come here in the evening. Buy the unlimited wristband that covers both Fun Spots. Spend about an hour here, then drive to the nearby Fun Spot Kissimmee and spend the rest of your evening there. And while White Lightning is extremely smooth, it is also fairly tame. Mine Blower, on the other hand, is quite rough with its violent transitions, but it is an intense coaster that is far more worthy of marathoning - if you’re up to it.

I went there yesterday, and it was awesome! But they removed the Iconic Ferris Wheel, (which will be replaced by a brand new Ferris Wheel) when I was there.

Tell us what you think about Six Flags getting Darien Lake and Frontier City (back technically). I am for one happy regardless of Six Flag's neglect of some parks and whatever and whatnot given the change of ownership and generally poor effort to expand (took 10 years to get a new coaster there, and they left another to rot and scrapped it).

OneAndOnlySound i'm happy too. the six flags brand name will cause a boost in attendance, which could lead to expansion. Darien Lake has a lot of underused potential, and the corporate management of Six Flags could finally use that potential.

It definitely will. I mean for me to go it's nice to not have to pay to enter having a six flags season pass. Then there's the advantage of them possibly adding in a big new ride and the rumors of rmc predator now have actual potentional to happen. And they just got Tantrum, which is nice, so even if takes a couple years, rebranding and whatnot, cheaper access to travelers/tourists, and then they get a world class coaster basically, it's just a beginning to tap into it's potential really.

Really not sure, but as rumors-and honestly not a bad choice at all, now you have a chain whose been adding an RMC to every park major or not (mostly, you'd think six flags gadv would have one by now and no i do not care it has el toro already), I would think the increased likelihood of them investing into it has gone up a lot more than when it had management constantly changing.
