Thanks for showing us around Tulsa today! I had planned a visit with my wife to Tulsa while considering Tulsa remote. On a whim I emailed Stephen, he responded right away and agreed to show us around. He went above and beyond to show us not only houses that matched our needs, but also gave us a guided tour of the city and answered all our questions about both the good and the bad of living in Tulsa.

Ah, I miss having the 918 area code. Heck, I just miss living in Tulsa. I lived there when I was going to college twenty years ago. Good times. Some of the most fun I had in my life. I hope to live there again someday. Or at the very least come back, and visit again. The BOK was just being built when I lived there, so I never had a chance to go there. I hope to remedy that some day.

There are actually 4 districts in Downtown Tulsa. The other one you missed is the Art Deco District.

What about people who don’t want to go to bars? Are there very many places there to eat without the bars in them?

I know its the Bible belt. But a little wine is ok not to get doctrinal about it.

Definitely interested in the speakeasy. Mind sharing the details?
@StephenTalksOklahoma3 жыл бұрын
Yeah! It’s located in Downtown Tulsa in the Tulsa Arts District. It’s in a alley right next to a bar called Valkyrie. There are no signs or advertisement anywhere. The only thing that will give it away is a little bull statue is going to be above a door. If you try to look up the address online it will take you somewhere totally different.

Isn't there a drag racing thing somewhere close to Tulsa? Do you have any videos on the Green Country area? When I look online, there is a lot of information about rock climbing, rafting, and other outdoor activities that Tulsa or at least the Green Country area is known for. I'm also a motorcycle ride, so I like to make long trips through scenic areas. I guess it's good that there is open carry so I can defend myself against attackers when I'm on my bike. However, maybe those guys wouldn't have access to guns if it weren't so easy to get a gun

its a city so i think it would be fine - they are welcoming to gay people yeah? It's been so long since marriage has been approved i can't imagine too many people in cities even care.
