So fun to watch Abra learning the fun of the lure. Such a quick study. She initially was like yeah so! Haha, but what a quick girl. Then the GSD siblings are always fun to watch the dynamic and ho2 it will play out. Hope was so wonderful to see how good she i# doing and her little jumps. Then to see Freddo win one against the young one was good! So sad to see when our loved ones are aging. Still love you my big guy. Maybe just need a slower pace buddy! 😘❤️😉😎

I love these videos when Luke explains things since I do not usually see what he does until he points it out. Especially found the part about how to tell if dog dangerously close to exhaustion very useful. Had always thought they would know when to rest, so eye opening to find some don't. Ty Luke!

Luke, before I start the video I wanted to share that there is a snake alive because of YOU. When I was in my yard and it slithered by, my first reaction was to grab the shovel. But I thought of you, put the snake in a bag and took it to our local bayou. I may have aged 50 years, but the snake is alive because you have taught us respect for all life forms. When I adopted my dog Maddie, she had the one ear up and one ear down thing going on and I loved it. But about 6 months later they were both erect. Of course I still love her and her ears but I do miss her crazy ears.

If I remember correctly, when Hope was first introduced to the lure, she would join in the run until the first pulley then wander off, so it's beautiful to see her intensity now. And the famous Matilda roll! Gotta love that!

Great to see Abra at one end of the age group and Freddo, the other. Freddo wins the excitement level medal of the day love him 😂 Nobody ever tell that beautiful big bear he's a senior 🥰 He won't believe you 🥰 To see Hope tense with anticipation at the lure, was so brilliant, from the terrified tension she used to suffer. Matilda is one of the best athletes to watch and she genuinely has fun with everything she does while still putting 110%. Also love how she's the only shepherd with a permanent closed mouth smile. Small darling Rosie, and mums boy Banjo are also growing up beautifully. Love to see Chopper becoming more into his athletic side, while sometimes lackadaisical Tank rules the game. Seeing Freddo give everything in his run made me sad, I know we can't help it, but how nice it would be if he had older age without the side effects of old age. His Athleticism still surprises me . Those are just my favorites during the Lure training but everyone, including Abra and Hope did amazingly. I hope you all had a great rest this friday!

Abra's training was fantastic!.. She's really showing what an amazing, responsive dog she is!.. I've been reading up on the Mali Duchie breed and they look to be a wonderful, impressive breed and the farm and family life is perfect for her... I was interested to read that they are not naturally aggressive dogs at all, but loving, loyal, friendly family dogs... Like all working dogs, they really just need a job and agility training combined with the lure/flirt pole will appeal to the high prey drive of her breed... I really hope she becomes a permanent addition to the farm... 'Abra Evans' suits her just perfectly! 🥰

👏👏 standing ovation for the talk about heat stress and especially frenchies, as a retired Frenchie breeder when the craze started for them to be the Instagram handbag for a lot of people it was hard to explain to people what they were originally bred for (companion lap dogs). I turned many people away who thought they would be great for hikes and to go for a run, yes they can and will do it and give 100% but all to often at the ultimate price and then you have a crying owner calling you and blaming you the breeder for their actions. Frenchies go hard and break just as hard, that’s what I tell everyone. Nice work Luke ❤Michelle

What a great video. Lots of info, and ALL of them did such a great job on the lure, but I was very impressed how Miss Abra picked it up so quickly and beautiful Hope loving her life. To think back when she and her momma were pancaked on the ground to now is amazing. Freddo, you still got it, buddy, and the Sheperds were on 🔥.
