You can also unlock debug mode in a faster way, even if you just bought the game. Once Sonic appears in the title screen, press Up, Up, Down, Down, Up, Up, Up and Up on the d-pad. If you hear a ring sound, it means you've successfully unlocked it already. Be quick as there is only a little amount of time to do that.

If you use debug mode in marage saloon zon act 1 the will get confused and take you marage saloon zone act 2 but diffrant it will take you to knuckles version of the stage

There’s a trick to get the emeralds faster jump to left or right then jump on the opposite direction to get more speed than sonic is supposed to if you do this with the bumpers you get even more speed
