Thank you so much for this. It was so informative and talking about all the things I wondered. Had my first appointment with a new neurologist yesterday and she referred me straight away and I'm checking it out next month. My physio today was really happy too as she thinks that it will be perfect for me 🤞🏼

Thanks so much this is very interesting, I have a foot that’s completely frozen and has been for around 8 years, I went to my Drs originally when I was 36/7 with this issue of tripping over with it not working along with other symptoms like burning and severe pain in my back, aura migraine and he told me it’s just old age gave me tramadol and sent me on my way … recently as my symptoms are getting worse (I am now 45) and so I have done my own research and MS keeps coming up, could I buy one of these machines to help my foot 🦶? Many thanks for great videos 😊

I agree with you it should be available on the NHS but it isn’t I went to the Morrelo clinic in Newport It’s private but worth it I can give you contact details if you want I’ve tried one absolutely fantastic but can’t afford to buy one at the moment but they make you able to walk as if you haven’t got dropfoot

I have MS with Dropfoot, but also can't use my knee well. Would this improve circulation to control my knee as well as my Ankle?

Thanks for your message. FES treatment applies small electrical charges to the leg to improve mobility if you have have difficulties with walking arising from damage in your brain or spinal cord. I'm not too sure if it helps with circulatory issues. It might be worth contacting Odstock Medical Limited to enquire with them about it. You can find more details on the referral process and their outreach clinics here: • How to be referred for FES treatment: pulse.ly/6rcovkifmq • Outreach clinics: pulse.ly/3yk28106ol The telephone number for FES clinic enquiries to call and enquire more about the treatment is: 01722 439540. You can also read more about FES here: pulse.ly/fuztkmohof I do hope this information is helpful for you. Take care, Corinne, MS Trust Enquiry Service 0800 032 3839 / ask@mstrust.org.uk

@@mstrust I mainly wanted to know about will it help with Knee movement to make it contract when walking like it does the ankle?
@mstrust

Hi there, Yes it can also be used to activate other leg muscles while walking, assisting knee and hip movements too. However, I'm not medically trained therefore it might be worth seeking the professional opinion of a physiotherapist to see if it would benefit knee movement too. You can also read more about how it works here: pulse.ly/1fwo001lkf I do hope this information is helpful for you. Take care, Corinne, MS Trust Enquiry Service 0800 032 3839 / ask@mstrust.org.uk
