Thanks! I still need to make some more videos with that crane. In the near future I want to make "No hands challenge" videos so this means letting a train crash and lift it back on the track with the crane. Of course no hands allowed to make that work, only remote controllers! Should be fun!

Hi Nico! Wow, cool you wrote a comment. Around 10 years ago I saw your photos of the Citroen 2CV but you did not have instructions yet but a lot of photos so I built it with just the photos! I put a motor in it but the gears could not handle the weight. So I built a trailer that looks a bit like those fold out camper trailers and also put a motor in that so it could push the 2CV! That worked but unfortunately I don't have a video from it. Only then I found out the 2CV has that special suspension which I still tell out to other people. I bet you could build a cool Technic Train. How about this idea? A train that can lay track and then drive forward on it! All remote control, no hands. Lay down some track that will connect with the axle-pins so can just drop down! Too easy!

Most of my Lego are new Lego sets I buy online. On the Brickwatch site you can find the cheapest prices. After a couple of months the price will drop to -37% from the standard Lego price and that's when I buy Lego sets. Almost all other separate parts I buy on Bricklink. I have also bought a lot of PowerFunctions motors on Aliexpress and also A LOT of 15L beams for the track. Second hand Lego can also be good. Don't wash it in water, because the water gets stuck in some parts. I have used a damp cleaning cloth. Watch out with all the fake Lego sets. They look the same but the quality is just not the same. Lego is perfect and that's why it works great. There is always something wrong with fake Lego.

@@jambic44-9w7 Haha, "but" with a T please. My first Technic Train was on track 11 studs wide and train 13 studs wide, but the whole train became too big and heavy and the wheels too small in proportion. This is plastic not metal so more friction. Normal brick Lego trains have thin rails and wheels and metal axles so less friction. Also even wider track means even bigger curved track and my home is not bigger enough haha. So my trains are 11 studs wide and with some train parts 13 studs. The Steam Loc probably wider because of the arm on the side. What train do you want me to build?
@matsv201

Its cool as h***.. but it looks so freaking expensive. This is basically I scale train in lego... They should be about the same size... just checked it up.. L scale is 37.5mm gauge, I gauge is 45mm. This is.. 48mm??... so a bit larger than I gauge. Granted i use to build legotrains like this when i was a kid, but with studded tech beams.. and.. well, much simpler trains. Also a bit shorter rail (but it was fairly long)
@legotechnictrains8999
@legotechnictrains8999 Жыл бұрын
My track is 9 studs wide so between the tracks is 7 studs. 1 stud is 8mm so 56mm. I also measured it. About the cost, a couple years ago I wanted to go on holiday but that was not possible due to covid. So then I locked myself in my home for about 2 years and ordered a lot of Lego haha. Not sure if you noticed but the track is made from chinese clone technic beams. So the price is around 1/3 from Lego price and could order a couple *thousand* 15L technic beams. A couple boxes full! All my trains are made from real Lego but not always the electrics. When I buy Lego sets I wait till the sales start with 40% discount on the standard Lego price.

I've got the instructions 99% done so should be available in a week after I upload a couple other ones. That Unimog is so freaking cool haha. This morning I put a Buwizz 2.0 in it to see how much it could pull. It could almost pull that heavy transport plus crane train. That crane train has half a kilo weight from 2x 9V battery boxes so when I removed those the Unimog could actually just pull those 2 heavy trains! And then the (replica) motor overheated and smelled funny haha but not broken, just needs to cool down. That Unimog is super strong because no differential and good traction with rubber wheels on Technic beams. But check out the real Unimog. I love this video! kzbin.info/www/bejne/oqfSi3Sio8ZsZsk
