@@BVanUSMC Thank you. Functional means I can actually keep up with it!

Last year I kept a physical reading journal but I created too many pages so found it difficult to keep up with it. This year I’ve created a digital journal in GoodNotes. Maybe not fewer pages overall but now the pages are very personalized. I’m also going to track if I’ve done my daily yoga and knitting 😊

This sounds like a marvelous plan! I have trackers in my regular planner for working out, etc. I hope this method works better for you than last year’s!

I am a spreadsheet girl but i decided for next year to start with a reading journal. The one by Clever Fox. BUT i also use Goodreads as a way to track the books I've read that year (now that i think abt it, if GR shut down I'd have lost all that info 👀). I created a DNF shelf for each year so i refer to that list. I find that depending on how far into the book i got (if it's 1 ch and see I'm not in the mood for that book i don't shelve it there), I'll shelve it then occasionally I'll look back on prior DNF year shelves to see if there's a book i would like to try again (unless it's one dnf'd for content). I plan on using my new journal with a page in the back to list dnfs. I love your idea of making an album in on your phone when you complete a book.
