In the Volvo Truck FMX 440, there are additional brakes that are used to reduce the speed of the vehicle.
This additional brake is called the Volvo Engine Brake (VEB).
The Volvo Engine Brake (VEB) consists of 2 systems used, namely "Volvo Compression Brake" and "Exhaust Pressure Governor". The two systems work simultaneously.
"Volvo Compression Brake", the system is by leaking compression, while the "Exhaust Pressure Governor" system is by closing the exhaust gas path.
In this video, I will discuss the function and workings of the "Exhaust Pressure Governor" on Volvo trucks.

Kenapa sensor yg di roda kotor bisa meng non aktif kan exhos brake

Yg di maksud wheel speed sensornya kah bang yg bermasalah. Kotor atau jaraknya terlalu jauh bang. Jika jarak terlalu jauh biasanya ada error. Klo soal hubungan dengan exhaust brake saya belum tau bang.

Bang,kalau pada saat kunci kontak posisi on,avu langsung aktif itu masalah apa bang? Engine belum di start baru on kunci kontak. Unit volvo FM 440. Saya cek voltage pin 1 dengan pin 2 pada avu menunjukkan 14 volt. Mohon bantuan bang.

Awal start biasanya AVU aktif sebentar mas, untuk pemanasan awal. Setelah itu avu OFF , dan bisa aktif lagi ketika lever Engine brake diaktifkan

AVU nya aktif tidak menentu bang setelah on kunci kontak. Seperti kedip kedip aktifnya. Tapi tidak selalu kedip kedip juga. Kadang normal mau stop.di test jalan epg bisa aktif namun setelah di release masih kedip kedip aktif.setelah parkir matikan engine,kita on kunci kontak lagi,avu langsung aktif tidak normal. Ganti avu dari unit lain hasilnya masih sama.mohon bntuan langkah apa yg harus saya lakukan ini bang?

saya ada masalah yang agak mudarat Volvo truck Vcb tidak berfungsi paduhal DTC nya tiada... wiring semua sudah di check ✅ engine ecu, solenoid valve pun sudah ditukar
