I think all that rules and principles are maybe important but I think everybody should do what he wants for himself. I don't like a front of a tree. I dont want to make a tree with a measuring device. As long as I like my tree, that is what counts. Rules and regulations.....I don't like them.

Think of them not as rules but helpful guidance. It is often better to break or ignore rules consciously rather than due to ignorance or not being aware of them. The “rules” are based on experience of what generally works or leads to success. By all means do things your way, but do so consciously.

@@TheBonsaiGarden that is exactly what I mean. I know these rules I follow them if its making my tree better. But for me most important is me liking my tree.
