How is using Li-Ion a sustainable option, we don’t really know what to do with the Lithium (yet) as far as I know? Please enlighten me if there’s a way to upcycle or realistically recycle Lithium?

Platinum resistance (PRT) have linear relationship with temperature is one more option. Low temperature is non-hazardous during discharge but Li plating can occur at medium to high charge current at low temperature. So one of funtions of BMS is to cut off charge if the temperature is below a certain value.
