Glad to see you having fun in a National Park. Geocaching is not permitted in the Provincial Parks of Ontario, and I was told that the National Parks will be following suit. Have fun while you can, no fun allowed in Ontario.

We couldn't get down to Fundy for this year's event - had to work. Can't wait to hear the stories. (NB)

@dmosier Parks like Fundy, Kejimkujik, Cape Breton Highlands offer a geocaching program. Fortress of Louisbourg also have something in place. I think National Parks like Pacific Rim, Yoho are also working on geocaching. There's a national geocaching contest going on now from Environment Canada where geocaches are placed in a number of parks & Historic Sites, a few in Ontario. Hopefully Parks Ontario will change their minds on the topic soon so that you can have some fun :)

the caches are places, I had to hand it off to other people this year as I wasn't able to. Things should be good to go next Sunday.

@dmosier I can speak for the Provincial Parks of NB: you are indeed allowed caching in our parks, as long as you keep the hides away from campsites. Permission is requested so that the managers are aware of geotrail issues that may arise.
