Yeah that shirt is nice. I’m about to Out! a couple shirts tonight. It’s too cold for dye but I’m prepping and doing ties. Maybe I’ll keep one bleached lol. I do have one MEG ice dyeing inside though. In the muck lol, I’ll let it sit awhile. ✌🏻❤️

So I'm looking for another one u did like this,or at least I thought u did, where it's reversed by putting the opposite end at the top of the gutter for an incline. I can't seem to find it.

Awesome! What's the difference with out brite and Clorox? Will out brite help better than Clorox when your base color goes more grey or pink etc.. than white?
@FunEndeavors3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! The Out White Brite and Clorox remove the color in two totally different ways. Clorox is bleach and it is very damaging to the fabric. It will leave holes in a shirt if it is not neutralized properly with a hydrogen peroxide solution after the bleaching process. It is really great to do more finite color removal on a shirt though because you can paint with it, spray it on, etc... I personally haven't ever been able to get a shirt very light using bleach without it damaging the fabric too much and causing holes. Usually the shirt will turn a shade of orange when I use bleach. The orange and black combination look really cool though. Out White Brite contains Sodium Hydrosulfite which is an alternative chemical that can be used for removing color. It doesn't need to be neutralized and it won't damage the fabric the way that bleach does. It works really quickly and it usually gets the shirts fairly light after just a few minutes. A black shirt will normally turn a light shade of taupe. It has a smell, but it's not necessarily any more strong that the smell that bleach has.

Angie, with all the snow blasting us this week, I’ve been thinking about trying a “snow dye”! Do you have any tips? Is there a specific amount of snow you use? I know better than to use yellow snow..😂
@FunEndeavors3 жыл бұрын
I've got some snow dyes processing right now myself. Since we don't get snow very often where I live, I don't have a lot of snow dye experience. However, I do know that it takes quite a bit of snow to get the dye all the way through the shirt. The snow that we're getting right now is very dry and powdery so it seems to be taking more than normal - I've already added a couple of layers and I'm probably going to add a bit more. So, just make sure you use plenty of snow to force all the dye through the fabric. I would definitely not use the yellow snow though - ha! Have fun!!!

@@FunEndeavors ..and maybe add a little soda ash as I add layers? It probably wouldn’t hurt I guess. I think I’ll do an incline with several blues I have.. Yes, this will be fun, thanks!
@FunEndeavors3 жыл бұрын
@@histeve1110 It won't hurt to add more soda ash - I usually add a bit of soda ash on top of the dye before I add the snow or ice. I love the effect that an incline gives! Let me know how it goes.

Does the out eat the cotton in the fabric like bleach does?
@FunEndeavors3 жыл бұрын
No, it doesn't damage the fabric like bleach. It doesn't have to be neutralized like bleach does either. I usually wash my shirts in the washing machine after using the Out White Brite, but most of the time I just leave them tied.
