Agree with Greg, I'm seeing sunlight peeking out from behind some kind of cloud formation that looks like splashing water. Spiritual. So cool. Really love this one too! Beautiful Mandala on this Angie, but I am so fond of the back to me reminds me of glacier and then the evening sky above some kind of maybe an ancient flower that has been buried all those years and finally started to thaw out. That’s just my thinking, but I love this shirt.😁✌️

Just a heads up... You can adjust the clasp on the hemostats by bending them slightly towards each other to stop them from releasing.

Yussss!!! SO inspiring! Have you used hemostats for anything that isn’t a repeating design per se? I love the effect but am more into organic/off center designs or things that don’t repeat. Either way, love how this came out!!!

Thank you! 😀 I use hemostats to make sunflowers too. They do have more of a repeating pattern though like a mandala. My favorite sunflower designs are the ones I've put on the side of the shirt.

Most of the powdered dye colors are mixtures of several other dye colors. When they are used for ice dyeing, the component colors used in the mixture will "split" out and show up on the shirt. For example, purple is usually a mix of red and blue dyes (possibly other colors too). Therefore, when it is used for ice dyeing, it isn't uncommon to see hints of blue, red, and sometimes other colors show up in the shirt. On this shirt, I didn't use yellow. However, I have a few hints of yellow showing up at the edges of the shirt. The color splits are one of the fantastic things about ice dyeing. They make the shirt very interesting to look at and add so much depth of color to the item.
