Not even 10k views for one of the best songs they've ever written. It's such a shame how many people just stopped looking out for them after Tales.

I like the background vocals on this track! I was sad to see their drummer leave, but it creates a new dynamic in the band and I think their latest sound calls on those old elements of punk and hardcore fans of the band have come to enjoy.

deep down like a small investment trained teeth that could bite and tear like it's something worth giving up everything for and four hours sleep in someone else's bed it's just a feeling i get do you feel the need like I feel the need to feel love like a human car crash ? like the way your parents shake when you tell them "HEY MY LIFE IS MINE" do you feel the need like I feel the need lLike the way your parents shake when you tell them it's just a feeling I get a feeling I get when I'm numb when I can't fall asleep and i pick apart the things I hate about myself so self loathing is another trend amongst all you bloggers and you hipster teens do you feel the need like I feel the need to feel love like a human car crash ? like the way your parents shake when you tell them "HEY MY LIFE IS MINE" do you feel the need like I feel the need to feel love ? i tied my brother to a tree in the woods i could have left him there to die but i didn't you see there's such a thing as family and it means more to me than you ever could i tied my brother to a tree in the woods i could have left him there to die but i didn't you see there's such a thing as family and it means more to me, it means more to me MORE THAN YOU EVER COULD it means more to me more than you ever could it's just a feeling I get a feeling I get when I'm numb when I can't fall asleep and i pick apart the things I hate about myself and i pick apart the things I hate about myself

The lyrics just kept getting worse with each consequent release... Whatever, you've said everything you wanted to say. It's only reasonable that John Oliver or some other pop-media figure lends your mouth for a song or two nowadays. But songwriting, I don't understand, how do you even go from the "bleeding edge" of hardcore music to some run-of-the-mill, no-brains punk? In less than a decade! Once championing the style, you're now purposely refusing to touch your guitars in all the right places. This album is the equivalent of opening your mouth and saying nothing. A big fucking yawn.

Not knowing how to appreciate this album doesn't mean it's bad and it surely doesn't deserve that tough review. I think it's intense from the beginning to the end. Lyrics since Conduit are far more deep, more painful, angry, and real. Their songwriting kept evolving since FFAF was born, avoiding boredom and easiness. I know they lost their way at some point between M&M and The Young And Defenceless but they came back with a strong and solid album: Welcome Home Armageddon. Since then, they seemed to give all of their heart in the writing of songs, giving FFAF a new identity with more hardcore inflences and they did really good. Hours surely remains their best effort but I got tired of always speak about them like their carreer suddenly stop in 2005, like many people think, because they refused that FFAF could be more than an bunch of emo kids writing about heartbreaking situations. I hope you're not like this. People's taste in music evolved, but it's kind of sad that they don't support those great musicians anymore. Did you listen to Chapter & Verse more than once ? Maybe it could grow on you.
