@EvelynThomas1610I have no doubt, Holding Absence and FFAF are my favorite bands, so if I would have been there, I would probably die in the middle of the crowd 😢

Is this first live performance with new frontman? He sounds good!

He's Lucas Woodland, from Holding Absence. He joined FFAF just for some shows this month. Unfortunately he won't be the new singer, that's why this videos are so special.

Has there been an actual statement from FFAF or Lucas saying he won’t continue on? Surely he could record music and squeeze in some UK/EU shows no problem. Probably wishful thinking on my part! 😢

@@ScottSwanson-pk1tmWell, he haven't said anything about joining full time, but his band Holding Absence have been on tour very frequently, they even came to Mexico, (wich is uncommon for welshs bands). So he's a full time singer for HA, it would be difficult for him to stay with FFAF if both bands make an album. But definitely if he joins FFAF for a new album would be one of the greatest moments of the band, they still have the passion to create music, (at least Kris have shared some riffs never heard in FFAF before). And Lucas is very talented, admires FFAF, loves the genre, and he fits perfectly with his voice and energy. It's difficult for they to stay together, but Corey Taylor could make it with Slipknot and Stone Sour, so I hope Lucas could make the same with HA and FFAF, after all, they're from the same country.

It’s really interesting hearing Lucas reshape the vocals. I think Matt’s singing voice sat at a higher register and he’d a really distinctive habit of punctuating his melodies in a punky-shouty of way. It’d be hard to replicate that. Lucas smashed this though.
