13 years I have been listening to Funeral For a Friend. They're just as good in 2016 as they were in 2003. Only difference now that I'm older, their songs mean so much more to me now.

The first gig I went to was October 2003 and I went to see them whilst visiting friends at uni in Newcastle. This song meant so much back then. It means more now with the loss of people I loved back then. Relationships fracture. People change and not always for the better but I know this song has the same meaning for me as it does them. 16 years on, the words still stir and echo.

Reading the uploading date sets me into such a nostalgic and sad mood, brings me back to those days, with my mind... When I was just a naive kid playing in the countryside, discovering the world, roleplaying quests, kid games and bike rides, first online matches when I could barely speak english, growing with trash high pitched nightcore and lame 2006 techno trance tracks, when the internet was just so different I can't even explain... When Windows Messenger was still alive, when everyone had his own Blogsite full of crappy glitters and emoticons. Everyone of us was somehow 'naive', when emo culture was widespread and persecuted, when every other kid was a tokio hotel fan, when youtube was all about stars rating and 240p, when bluetooth was the main sharing way, when downloading at 320kb/s would freak me out for how fast that was, when it was just so much more genuine... New gen don't even know what they missed... thanks for reading thus far.

Recently went thru the hardest time in my life these last 2 years after being cheated on and divorced and experiencing every bad thing you could this song kept me goin and the comments too but too anyone reading this. Your worthy of love do you are loved because there’s somebody sitting on the other side of this phone who doesn’t even know you won’t even judge you and loves you. I hope things get easier over time. God knows things are still hard for me, but every day I try to be a little bit better than yesterday and make all of the bad things just another line in my book. Stay awesome everybody and stay strong not everybody’s kind and cares about us so we have to take care of each other.

@Shinito16 Something about finding your identity and how people tend to fake who they are. In my opinion Bullet Theory is about finding your identity but it being a "front", You Want Romance? is about finding someone who loves you for who you are and not having to pretend anymore and Juneau (acoustic) is about no matter how many people are out to get you; you should always be true to yourself...My opinion based on symbolism. This was an old comment from WarlockAshlii, thought it might help.
