I feel as if TDTT was an album written to show what the band was really capable of. I mean, lets be honest, that album really is INCREDIBLE in its own right, every song on it stands out for itself. TDTT really showed that FFAF are superior musicians capable of writing much more than just melodic hardcore/metal.

Bought this CD the day after it came out, and I can honestly say that this album reminds me of their first album and it is their best one since 2004.

LYRICS: It falls apart Clockwork hearts, running out Rusted needle in the vein We all fall down We find our place, in circuitry We worship our gods, the tv screens We substitute, our lives for another It's kill or be killed It's our nature To give up control It's our failure Like young lovers planting seeds It's anarchy, head down in shame Seasons come and seasons go and We grow old, never learn from our mistakes Around the crown, we all fall down Rusted people all in vain, corroding in the rain A well-made dream, flog it down, destroyed it for you Your time well spent, a living lie that covers everything It's kill or be killed It's our nature To give up control It's our failure Like young lovers planting seeds It's anarchy, head down in shame Seasons come and seasons go and We grow old, never learn from our mistakes Never Cross the river, down we go, hold me under Hold your breath, and play the part, race towards the finish line Cross the river, down we go, hold me under Hold your breath, and play the part, race towards the finish line Race towards the finish line What's mine is yours and yours is mine Race towards the finish line What's mine is yours and yours is mine Race towards the finish line What's mine is yours and yours is mine Race towards the finish line And hope is something you have lost The past is holding on and on And hope is something you have lost The past is holding on and on and on

@Gurkmassa Hahah yeah I'm on FFAF's FB right now where they asked for requests and its kinda awesome seeing the diversity of songs that people love. from recovery to 10 scene points there's something for everyone (: WMH is probably my favourite album now though. gosh it is incredible.

@JCarlosFFAF I am in the middle here.... let me explain. Instrumentally I would say this is marginally better than casually and hours. It is a very nice, clean, technical sound that doesnt sound too "poppy" and i love the raw bite it has. However, lyrically I am not sure... the lyrics on casually, hours and even some of tales were so powerful.... and they had clear meaning; I am finding some of the new songs had to attach meaning to or interpret properly and I have had the album for 3weeks now

@open0Fire no everyone dissed it, but I probably wouldn't have discovered FFAf if it werent for that album. they are like my life now so I'm so glad for TDTT. Ofc its so different but its an amazing album in its own right.

@open0Fire I love it. I don't think that the genre is important as long as they master it. And I think that's what makes FFAF so amazing. Even if they switch style pretty often, they make good music anyway. So stop trolling and listen to the great music that god has to offer.

Who cares what genre FFAF are? The important thing is that this song, this album and this band are awesome!

@justger Instrumentally they are unquestionably at their best, whether you like it or not. I loved all their albums but i must admit that this is their best. No, your wrong. The members in the band are most original members. If you went to a live show you would see how amazing the new line-up is and how exciting are the new songs live and then you would agree that this is what they do best.

@9FORDIE9 the songs haven't got only 1 meaning. Each person interpret them as they want. Matt always sing through weird metaphores and it's hard to know what is he singing about (what was he thinking when he wrote the song). Think about the song history... the true meaning of it is so different from what people think. I know what it is because of an interview when Matt explained the meaning of "Arches in your arches raise your fingers for one last salute" and it is really complex!

I disagree, Sixteen is pretty good and it has a Epic riff, and outstanding lyrics as well: "the young and defenceless, a waiting son at arms beating hearts against the tide of one". Man, you should see my lyrics video for Sixteen. However 'Spinning Over the Island' is my favourite song right now. We need to support the band and buy the new WELCOME HOME ARMAGEDDON album and spread the word about it! All hail the Kings of Post-Hardcore \m/

All I hear are trapped artists that were on the brink of growing in to something beautiful when they released their third full length album, but were dragged back down in to writing songs simply to appease their childish fan base. I remember when I heard them first when I was a kid, I loved them! And they were with me for the latter half of my teens and i really thought they'd be a band I could grow old with. But this is pathetic. Most of the original band members have left, right?
