kazmarka Forgive ignorance. So many people claim to know the mind of God. The church is the people. The service itself is beautiful and has been that way for centuries. God doesn't have a problem...it's the naysayers and hypocrites who have the problem. Worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.

Practicality for your first question. My Dad was a big man and I remember wincing when he was carried up, afraid the pallbearers would be hurt and drop him. As for the latter comment, it was very uncharitable. And, if you listened to the priest's opening comments you would've heard that it was the priest's mother who was being buried. He was probably exhausted. His mother was probably thrilled to have her son, the priest, celebrating her funeral Mass. Beautiful.

@@danaleelavelle3708his mom’s hands were holding the strip of material used to bind his hands after he became a priest. Very moving to see the mother unwrap her son’s anointed hands knowing one day it would be with her in her casket.

you I feel sorry for these people because no matter how much they pray over this body if she was not born again she will not live in paradise with the Lord Jesus Christ now if you Catholics will read your Bible an stop allowing these so call priest read for you then you will know that you must be born again there's no amount of money paying there is no purgatory! please repent an turn to Jesus for your salvation because pope franis an no other priest can get you into heaven.

They were born again... she was baptized... clensed of sin. Then the power of the holy spirit and the grace of Christ was instilled. Then they received further gifts of the spirit at confirmation. The scriptures are clear on baptism with water.

Disgraceful. Do you think the bible is the complete word of God. The Church is built upon the bible, teaching ( like your Wednesday bible study group ) and 2,000 years of tradition venerated by 1.2 BILLION CATHOLICS
