I'm deathly afraid of spiders and I have no problem camping so I think you should give it a shot. Wild life is practically a non issue too since they're afraid of humans (do research on bear cans/bear bags though to keep anything from getting into your food)

I have gone camping a few times in the woods of a certain western county in the state of Tennessee, USA. I also noticed that this series made a grave error in not promoting the usage of an outdoor fire pit ring, a.k.a., a campfire ring, as that is one thing that a lot of real life campers do not think to use whenever they build a campfire. Also, not only can one be built permanently, but there are also a variety of materials with which to build them, with stone and metal being the most predominant materials that are used, and some of them can also be portable as well. The website that is called Family Handyman has an excellent online article that goes into a bit more depth on the matter. The bottom line is this, these rings prevent wildfires, if they are permanent ones, then it prevents more random campfires from being set, and it also provides good soil with which to build up garden beds.

I have a tent that builds itself by uncliping three color coded buckles. Not even necessary to put stakes in the ground, though you can. 3 people can fit in there, or Me and my luggage. For 100€, that's an impressive pice of origami-fold engineering. My other 2-person (read: 1 person+luggage) tent is almost as easy, though you have to put stakes in the ground. I bought it for 70€ but it's frequently discounted to 50€. It's a 1 arch construction, the arch is made of fiberglass and funneled through the inner tent spine. The over-tent, like Rin's, is thrown over the whole thing and staked to the ground.

@Edwil Bisnar you might like them, but to me their voices do not match the character in terms of design. Like Nadeshiko’s En voice actor played as Kamiya from Shikimori and that was great. But seeing the VA of Kamiya to Nadeshiko imo was sucky. Kamiya was like the cool girl type. You can’t transition a cool girl type like kamiya into someone so cute/hyper like Nadeshiko.

As much as I’m excited for the dub… I’m not sure I like Rin’s and nadeshiko’s VA. Sakura’s sounds like it fits the character. But I just don’t feel the same with Nadeshiko and rin. Ohgaki sounds like an adult same with Aoi… might be because their art looks really wholesome and childish looking so maybe that’s why I don’t seem to like the voices. Just don’t match up to me.

Well, it's a slice of life so there isn't any shonen battle anime fighting. It's just meant to be a laid-back anime about cute girls enjoying camping outside in the winter with or without each other (and eating some nice looking food if I do say so)

I honestly wish that there was an anime and manga sequel to this franchise, but this time, it focuses on a new group of schoolgirls, maybe some kin to the previous cast, and maybe some cameos from them as well, and maybe a schoolboy or two, and they go around in the USA, as they are foreign exchange students, and something happens that makes them have to stay in the USA and, to kill the time, they are stuck touring the country and going through the various parks of the National Park System. Honestly, if the current series made park tourism go up in Japan, not just from Japanese citizens, but also from foreigners, then it would be an even more brilliant move if a sequel series got a blessing with the United States National Park Service, and especially after the events of the past three years. I think that it would be like one of the best marketing campaigns ever.
