Here's a lesson I learned dealing with kids, never try to guess what they drew, just say "oh cool, what did you draw?", never try to guess like Loid did here, or they're gonna feel discouraged cause they sensitive like that. If they say something like "Isn't it obvious?", just say something along the lines of "I'm terrible at art, so I can't ever tell what things are". I found that at the least I avoid them having hissy fits over their art sucking.

In some cases though, even if they're encouraged to keep drawing, said kids will grow up and look back at said art and realize it looks like shit. Yes I am talking about myself and a bunch of "paintings" I did at ages 2 and 3 that my mom saved because very young me having fun with paint was insanely adorable and wholesome.

I honestly didn't expect the dub to be this good. Clearly the VA of Anya did an amazing job, this is by no means any worse than the original version. But the others did a great job too, I like all of them. They even sound very similar to the original VAs in terms of pitch, especially Anya and Yor are very close to the original. English dubbing made a huge step forward over the last years.

You gotta love how this series stresses the fact that Anya's just a kid. Most kids with powers are super mature especially those with mind reading and physical prowess. You'd expect her to be really intelligent but she barely understands half of what she hears using telepathy. Now let's talk about that roided out six year old that tried knock Anya out in dodgeball. Other day it was storming and we're waiting at the bus stop, I asked her to hold the umbrella so I could answer my phone and then a huge gust blew it inside out. @@This.ability or maybe, this is just a theory, but what if the target isn’t just Damian Dad, but Anya? I mean, it is odd that the agency expect Loid to get a kid in less than a few weeks. And it just to happen the first Orphanage he went to, had a psychic kid who ran away from a secret organization that hasn’t been mention since. Could it be that they heard about this kid and want to know what to do with just a thing and send Loid to examine without him knowing (cause Anya could read minds, the less Loid knows, the better) Sound far fetch, but it would help explain why they send an agent who had zero experience dealing with a family for just a mission. Granted, the other agents were busy, explaining why Loid couldn’t get a female one to pose as his wife

To me it depends on the scene. Some scenes sound better in dub while others sounds better in sub.

@@Jvm-iq2qe Same here. I'd much prefer if dub Anya had speech patterns like 4 or 5 year olds do. Like how liquid consonants (Ls and Rs) come out as Ws and dental fricatives are stopped. Charlotte from Trials of Mana (or Twials of Mana as she pronounces it) is a good example of this.
