I moved to S.F. in 1993 from Dublin. II was getting into TripHop and Ameoba Records had only a small CD section dedicated to TripHop at that time. I picked this album out just by chance. I still absolutely love it. What a time to be partying. SF in the 90s was amazing. It brings back great memories. Funki Porcini was the best.

Pure gold. Song is truly special for me. I recal summer days full of warm feeling of lonliness and detachment and lone walks over the city. Somehow this song makes me miss moments I never had in my life. It's sweet and bitter at the same time. And have a good day the one who reads this comment. Be happy - you deserve it)

Agree, loved since first heard it in winter 95' on a clear night could see all the stars, life is short in comparison to the bigger picture, but a long enough road if you're lucky. May you all be so blessed.

I remember listening to this stuff back in ‘96. Mixed emotions because we’d started using heroin- it was all fun and games back then, we were so naive. I deeply regret the choices I made but still have some great memories and this reminds me of the “good” times I had with some friends who are no longer here. I love this album 😢

One day more people will realize racing/competing against each other for personal material wealth rather than lifting each other up and being kind is wrong. Life is a gift, it is only really a short trip in comparison to how old all else in the universe is that we be around billions of years after we are long forgotten, however to us life can seem like a long road and once born can't turn back, we have to keep going to the end.

in 1990 i was 13 and was still at the beginning of my life of crime so to speak, i learned early about consequences to the decisions i was making and that i had to accept them. well this one night me and a cohort were pulled over in a stolen car. the driver was arrested i was let go and told to get lost. i must have been 50 miles from home. i didnt even know where i was. i walked and walked and i remember thinking im going to make it home because this is just the beginning.
