I love Soul being on the screen, as if he’s being forced to stay away. A barrier so to speak. And the chains just add to it. There's just so many details, and it's all amazing! Well done!!❤

The distortion in bfs voice really gives away how unstable bf really is. When pico appears, that instability gets worse. Bf only seems to get better when soul shows up, and even then, it sounds like bf is one step from a mental breakdown or is pleading with soul not to leave again. Also, this is inside bfs mind, yes? Then that one floating bit of land really puts into perspective how bad off bf is before the song starts. He isn't stable enough to fend off those attacks, so the ground just falls out from under him. Also, soul really give me DID vibes. Hear me out; in week 3, soul was just as confident and as 2 dimensional as phantom fears in souls day 1/2. Here, we see soul is angry, helpless, maybe even fearing what will happen next for bf. He looks worried and protective. He's LIVID over the person doing this to bf, and maybe over the corruption too. This is a far cry from soul in insanity week 3. He feels more like a person than a persona. Who knows, I could be wrong about that DID theory, but with how traumatic things have been for bf, (and ARE with what we've just seen) I wouldn't knock it off the table just yet. There are more days to come after all.

You know, we all hate when devs take 5 months to develop episodes and all, but can we just appreciate the work made by the team? The way they made the corruption more terrifying and BF, who is afraid and feels guilty but at the same time wants to fight back along side his soul form. One if not the best episode from the series so far

This episode was something you all cooked...I love the tiny detail at 1:28 when each time the corruption teased bf, bfs voice sounded corrupted. Also wtf? Soul bf is alive and is not giving up?! Bro yall are crazy with the lore on this i swear. This was definitely worth the 5 month wait. Keep it up FCI team ^^

Great job. The wait was honestly worth it. You nailed the eldrich horror when Skid N Pump and Pico appeared. Also, its interesting that those creatures appear, especially when they are the people CBF corrupted. The song is also insanely amazing. Common Funny Man W. Voice acting and Art is peak too

i was waiting for this, it did not dissapoint BF is TRULY on his lowest point, and somehow he is still trying, this boy truly has an inmense amount of determination The corruption is really pulling EVERYTHING it can to stop BF, even making him see the corpses of the people he care the most, i just wounder why it didnt try to use GF too, something of the words of "He was right" (refering to DD) "You couldnt protect her", there must be a reason for that, or maybe its waiting for day 2 to actually use its biggest weapon against BF troughout the song goes, the voices do NOT STOP talking in BF's head, it KNOWS how BF wont stop, even tho even he himself doesnt know why, or how Soul somehow can still barely talk to BF, but not for long, still being chained by the corruption, but THAT wont be enough to make him stop to try either, as we can see at the end after this, it seems that the corruption itself will try to put BF down (or Monster, that can be a possibility too, judging by the voice) this will NOT be easy, even if Soul gets there in time its quite obvious that this is going to be harder then it was on OG corruption, since day 1 the corruption is doing something to keep BF weak and still i'm excited to see whats going to happen next, and i'm sure that this team will not disapoint

Okay WOW! I think y'all have outdone yourselves yet again, this episode is actually crazy. I seriously do applaud the team, all this stuff takes really hard work, especially for a team that doesn't have too many members in it. Breakdown/Analysis below (spoilers ofc) So, we start off in this episode with once again, the yellow text talking to BF here. It saying 'how many times have we done this?' just sounds like this yellow text is getting disappointed in BF for continuing to try lmao. First, we had Chapter 1, where BF almost broke free, I assume this same type of scenario happened at the end of Chimera. Then, Chapter 3, which we all know BF just fails to break free and Soul BF disappears. And now, Chapter 6. I guess we'll have to see if BF is actually capable of being strong enough this time. Anyways, the song starts, BF is on his little isolated island. BF looks absolutely depressed here, absolutely no sign of any hope on his face. I must say though, I find it amazing how we now have one of those sprite anims where it goes smoothly from a pose to the idle (see 0:50 for example), the sprite looks incredible. 1:28 We see the yellow text beginning to remind BF of his past failures, presumably to attempt and make BF give up. 1:47 Then the text fucking roasts BF, like damn. 2:08 Alright, this part I was definitely NOT expecting! Like holy shit that sprite looks crazy, an entirely messed up Pico (probs just an illusion to make BF give up once more). Next, we see.. wait.. 2:52 Soul BF? He's alive!?!?! I don't think this was planned at all from the yellow text, Soul BF being chained up is probably just trying to reach out to BF once again. A messed up Skid and Pump show up, with Skid holding the messed up Pump in his arms. God damn though, those sprites are insane. I think it only shows S&P and Pico because BF was the one who corrupted them, he didn't corrupt MM or GF(?) so it doesn't show them. Yknow, another thing I just realized. Take a look at BF's winning icon at 3:26. Then, take a look at it at 3:42. Different, right? Could this actually mean BF is somewhat gaining hope? Perhaps. Another thing I love about this episode is how _real_ Soul BF feels in this. Of course, he isn't real, well, at least in OG Corruption, not sure what Insanity's is like. But he feels like a real person, like, hes gone through being pretty much erased by the Corruption in Chapter 3, now hes escaping from his chains. Theories (could you even call some of these theories idk): 1. Yellow Text - Well, we ended off the episode with the yellow text pretty much saying 'fine then, I'll do it myself', but this is about who the yellow text IS. I feel like it's pretty obvious, that this yellow text is simply BF's corruption, or seeing by the title, Insane BF. It's probably similar to how the red text in OG Corruption acted. It is DEFINITELY not Monster though, I feel like the end of Aftermath proved that. 2. Soul BF and future episodes - We can see at the end of this episode, Soul BF breaks free from his chains, saying 'you can't keep me down this easily'. I guess now he's going to try and make his way to help BF. One of two possible outcomes I can see from this episode, is, one: Soul BF finds BF, and a sort of "Insane BF vs BF and Soul BF" battle ensues instead of the usual BF vs Soul BF thing. Or two: Soul BF almost gets to BF but fucking dies once again, which could happen too idk. He _did_ say 'I'll be there soon', but will he ACTUALLY be there soon? Will Insane BF stop him? Who knows. About the music/sprites I already covered the sprites here, but they are fire, BF's sprite just looks like he's completely devastated and I love that. Soul BF also looks really good here. The song though, DAMN, the song though. Funny man actually cooked on this one for sure. I actually really love how some parts in this sound kind of like Disconnection VIP from FCR, especially this part here: 2:52. The song starts out with a completely hopeless tone, then after Soul BF shows up, it actually kind of sounds like it's getting more hopeful. And that's what I absolutely love about this song, thank you mr funny man. this is definitely one of the ILL MAKE SURE OF IT moments of time

A scenario i'd imagine happening which would be cool is Soul Bf manages to break through to Bf like in OG Corruption, but instead of Bf regaining his hope upon his entrance, this bf was already so beaten down by "Insane BF" that he refuses to break free and listen to Soul, ultimately even fighting against him and banishing him once again in a tragic twist

I like this take, where instead of him being basically unaware of what hes done corrupted, and completely fine with what happened, he instead goes insane with the guilt he has, not to mention the corruption has been trying to keep soul boyfriend away from boyfriend

Hey ciov07, I have A question. So in the funkin corruption insanity wiki, I see that Tankman/captain John, for him it says that he’s corrupted/deceased. I know that John got corrupted, but does that mean he’s actually dead? Cause I know it says for him both that he’s deceased/corrupted, but does the deceased part go for Steve, since he was the one that got shot? I know that John got knocked out afterwards when hey got fully corrupted and knocked out on the ground, but just curious.?

Ok this was like, one of if not the best insanity episodes in terms of story and art. The main bf sprite is actually really great, showing the absolute despair and pain he's actually in. The other sprites (the pico and skid and pump ones I'm not sure if those are hallucinations or something but they look great and really stylized regardless). I can't wait for the next few episodes we'll get for this chapter. 9/10!

Spoilers!: So basically what this episode is trying to say is that the corruption stole BF's Soul? (Terrible joke but I couldn't help myself.) Good episode! Enjoyed the designs a lot! Pico and the spooky kids were HORRIFYING.

Amazing! From start to finish,it never disappointed! The sprites are amazing, I’ll go over each, beginning with the background! It is empty, but gives off a feeling of despair and other things! Overall, even though it’s empty, still good because it does portray the feeling of the song! BF’s sprite next! I love how simple his sprite is, it’s just him on his knees gripping his face, which is covered by shadow, it somehow conveys lots of emotion, he’s fought this virus so many times and failed that he feels like he can’t win, but will still give it all. Soul BF, he looks epic, he has an angered expression and has chains, i guess the corruption was fed up with Soul constantly trying to help BF break free all the time, so it did its best to stop him, too bad he broke out of his captivity at the end, safe to say the corruptions gonna need to try harder to win. Pico looks amazing here, and so do the kids, congratulations to the artist(s) who drew them, I love the inclusion of gore in corruption more nowadays! Song is amazing too, Reminiscent is a great name seeing as he’s reminiscing while fighting, just his memories are “corrupted” in a way. Overall, tops the peaks that were Tankman day 3, Spirit day 4 and Mom day 2! Rating: Amazing, can’t wait for day 2!

This was REALLY good!! Almost everything looks and soung amazing! I don't really kniw about Pico's design. He is quite creepy, but looks too monstrous. Also, I noticed that skid and pump look reallyy similar to minus corruption. Was that a reference? And where is girlfriend? I thought that monster would use her to scare Bf, but no. It is a little weird. Hope that this will change. But everything else is really good! Thank you for your amazing work!

Theory: BF starts gaining confidence in the middle of day 2, actually starts fighting back with soul, and then soul gets “killed” and BF starts to lose himself again.
