Unfortunately you're right, the original Newgrounds Tankman figure circa 2008 actually looks like him and this BF merch can't get it right nor show that they were considering consistency even after 4 tries (the Kickstarter BF statue which is in limbo) besides the fact that the game hasn't even come out yet. When you stack all of those flaws on top of eachother it doesn't look all that great.. It's almost as if they don't care enough to actually make these products acceptable under fair scrutiny.
