I just watched Jaws yesterday for approximately the millionth time (😄) to commemorate its 40th anniversary. Today I was in the mood for some Funko Reaction Jaws goodness and came across this classic upload. I remember watching this video when it first aired all those years ago. At the time this video first aired, I already owned the three figures and standard shark. However, I didn't own the SDCC exclusive version until a few years later. I collect a lot of action figure lines, but these are really, really special. When I was growing up, I always wanted to own Jaws figures but, unfortunately, they didn't exist. These figures are absolutely flawless because if Jaws figures were released back in the day, they would've looked exactly like these. This is one of my favorite videos to watch about these figures.

I'm so glad you enjoyed my video so many years ago and that it's still getting views today. It just goes to show how big an impact Jaws has had as a movie and with it's fans. I made this video just having fun as a fan myself and never thought it would get so many views or touch other people's memories with nostalgia. They may cost more later but sometimes you get lucky and may find them close to their original costs or even cheaper in some cases with some luck! Hunting them down will be part of the fun later. Once you start working and making some good money, you'll be able to afford these no problem! These will be nothing in comparison to getting a car or a house someday! Keep up your studies and good luck with everything!

Yeah, I think they sell both types at different amusement parks. I got the smaller grey version for sure at an amusement park. The larger one reminds of the one in Toy Story, so like in the Toy Story movie, there is always some nostalgia about our old toys...

When I was a kid I used to collect knives & swords. I had a friend who had some stuff too and he liked selling stuff. I saw that he had Quint's machete, he didn't know that because I bought it for $5. Boy is that thing heavy & thick. Basically a long meat cleaver.

I used to have an official Jaws game from the 70s back in the day, had to pick garbage out of a big plastic shark. They did make plastic toy sharks too but they were very basic and cheap.

Wow! I didn't know the current value on these as these all originally came out about 4 or 5 years ago? Back then they kind of sat around for awhile and nobody seemed to want them. I remember seeing the bloody exclusive version at my local ToysRUs before the closed down going for about $30 and the other figures were under $10 each.

@@ownbladez I don't believe they sell at retail price anymore. You might fight the shark online for about 35-50. The shark alone is not that great of piece. Does come with the oxygen tank you put in his mouth though. The shark with quint in his mouth is going for 200 and up. That 1 is way more cooler

I have that exact same shark. Ever since I saw this video I have been trying to get. Mine has the exact sculpture and body shape as the big black rubber one. I got mine on eBay. Unfortunately I haven’t found any for sale since I got mine. If I find one I will post a link in this comment.

These were available everywhere about 4 or 5 years ago, but are long sold out. I think I got them at my local comic shop or ToysRUs back then. The figures were less than $10 and the Jaws sharks were about $25-$30. The only place you can probably find them now is on the secondary market such as on ebay or from resellers on Amazon.

The larger/ longer shark on the table is rubber, the smaller one is soft plastic, and the 2 ReAction figure ones in boxes are a harder plastic material.
