Yes, that song Tvoj dječak je tužan is musically the best Kićo Slabinac's song, but also thanks to good lyrics (by Zvonimir Golob famous croatian poet) and beautiful music (by composer Ivo Krajač) Unfortunately, the song took the 17th place between 22 countries who participated the ESC '71. But many musicans praised the voice of Kićo Slabinac. Back home, KIćo said to yugoslav journalists: "I am not disappointed by the 17th place, I received many compliments for my singing and I am really satisfied." It was not the first injustice for the yugoslav songs participated the ESC's... And unfortunately not the last one....

A very beautiful song, in my opinion the best one from this singer. Not a predictable lalala song which were typical for the ESC at that time. In other words, it was a bit ahead of its time...

I know it been long time but i got to answer this yeah you right partly but this singer can sing etno pop and even rock with some great interpretation of Elvis not to mention a great comedian also real showman. I am presume by name you are from Hungary sooo he was real close to your country because he is born in Slavonia Eszék by Hungarian pronounce. Btw rest in peace Kićo we miss you already.
