He loves you! Lucifer would destroy dean even with the mark. He’s still one of the oldest beings in the universe and you’re implying that Cain would’ve been a match for Lucifer. If that was the case, why would Cain listen to him? He would’ve tried to kill Lucifer. There’s only 3-4 things stronger than an archangel which would be god, amara, death, a nephilim made from an archangel, and possibly the empty.

The mark makes the host immortal and its existence imprisons the darkness. So just use logic and its crystal clear that Lucifer just erased his mark after giving another to Cain you genius.

Corbin Wright he's looking at it in the mirror, it's the reflection of his right arm. They did the same thing in season 4 with Cas's handprint on his arm, the first time he looks at it is in a mirror, so it looks like it's switched arms, but it hasn't.
