Thank you! I’m glad you like it. At that moment, I am just dipping the very tip of the nib in a bit of water, which can help the ink flow when you’re started to write for the first time.

Hi Molly! I’m new to Procreate because of you! I’m Deaf and struggle to follow specific subjects in your tutorials especially without captions. One thing I’d like specifically to learn is how to edit text using the selection tool to manipulate the layout . The two you have peaked my interest, but aren’t in real time. Hi Chaim! Thank you so much for the question. I don’t know of a particular tutorial which combines the text tool and selection tool. But if I’m understanding your question properly, it sounds like you’re trying to create a text layout using fonts, but adjust spacing quickly and flexibly with the selection tool? If so, the only way to do this (currently!) is to rasterize the text layer, making it no longer editable, before adjusting it in pixel form with the selection tool. There is no way to deconstruct, separate, or distort fonts in Procreate while they’re editable. Does that help? As far as written instructions go, every KZbin video I publish that has spoken instructions has a written version on my blog: mollysuberthorpe.com/news. (I should probably publicize that more!) And with new caption features now in the backend of KZbin, I’ve been able to start uploading my own proofread captions myself during the publication process. My two latest videos have this improved type of captioning, as will all my future videos!
