Thank you Allie and Austin. I really needed to hear this devotional. I was denied a surgery I need because of my weight. I had lost a lot of weight and ended up putting it all back on. I forgot that my body is a temple of God and that I'm supposed to take care of it for Him; not just for myself. If I focus on making my body pleasing to him it makes it less of a struggle. I am beginning a new weight loss and get healthy journey and this made me positively change my focus. Thank you. Merry Christmas!

Sorry this comment is so late. But I got sick right after Christmas and am Just now getting well. One of our favorite Christmas traditions is to start a puzzle the day after Thanksgiving and try to get it finished by Christmas Eve. All the puzzles are Christmas themed and or of the nativity. Just a cool thing that we've always done and then we glue them and display the finished puzzles around the house every Christmas. 3 months ago I started working out M-F. This after years of inconsistent attempts. I can honestly say that it is less about working out and more about being faithful. I have even worked out during weeks I had a cold. I just did less. 15 minutes a day, at home, using Pinterest workout sheets. Different ones each day. What a difference it's made. I totally feel like God has helped me keep this promise to myself. Good word as always.
