I still can't accept that Lu Xia (Ryoma) is not smart in academics. And they change the pervy-ness of Lu Xia (Ryoma)'s father ... the perks of being an anime addict of PoT.

Funny enough I actually quite like the change. It was weird at first but it also makes him a bit more human to me haha~ I can relate to Lu Xia (Ryoma) a bit more compared to the anime and manga where I always thought of him as amazing and someone who can't possibly exist haha As for the change in Lu Xiang Qian (Nanjiro)'s character I understand due to censorship and regulations but I also kind of hoped it remained like the original... rip

@@elfiesdays in anime Ryoma is quiet a bit an eccentric character and that's the reason why i love him. And in tennis, you have to be smart for you to outdo your opponent just like when you are playing chess or a baduek.

Academic requires mathematical and/or linguistic intelligence more, whereas sports require kinesthetic and/or spatial intelligence more. Thus, there is no causality between them. One can be great at sports but bad at studying, and vice versa. What this drama did was acceptable. It didn't change the essence that Luxia's great at tennis. And I personally like the minor change.

I don't feel the Chinese version, it's too soft haha I hope Japanese make real live-action series of this hahaha just sayin like initial D when they made the live movie haha in the Chinese version Takumi got injuries by his dad hurting him but in the anime series that didn't happen and his dad is not even that alcoholic hahaha Chinese version is a little exaggerated.
