@@degenerat9329 Definitely, for me at least! It's such a wonderful community and you have a great time. But only do it if you want too, theatre/musical theatre is my passion, so it's a matter of if you think you would enjoy it or not! If you think that you would, I definitely recommend it!

When I was playing the sims 3 a few years ago, one of my couples got stuck woohooing. Like the game didn’t crash, I could still play as their daughter and the grandmother but the parents were just woohooing for like 3 days straight. They eventually fixed themselves and stopped woohooing but the bed was surrounded by pee puddles and the father immediately died after from starvation. Not sure how the mother survived but she somehow did.

Me thinking about a story plot for hours, after hours I decide to make the main characters, build their house, then I realize I wanted to make the other characters so I make them, and THEN I realize they can’t live on the street so I build their home too, and I completely close the game and not gonna play with the Sims 4 for at least 2 weeks, and then I make a whole another household and everything starts from the beginning again. I find it helps to make one sim in a starter home and then goals like family, a nice home are things you’ll want to work towards through playing. I also add some families nearby for some lore.

I never made it past 2 gens aftwr sims 2. I am trying again In sims 2 i think i made it to 5 gens. In that family at one point i had twins who were teens and a child daughter. She was taken away. Ome of the twin girls ended up adopting their taken away sister still as a child years later when this twin had managed to graduate college and get married. I love how sims 2 aging and adoption could screw with a family like that. I literally adopted a kid who looked just like the mom... Because they were sisters at one point 😂😂 I still remember my ten year old ass named that Kid Panda and adopting Panda back into the same family was the coolest accident i ever had hahah

When I played The Sims 2 and The Sims 3 I played through so many generations. Now (in The Sims 4) I spend hours on making the family and building a house and then I close the the game. Sometimes I play in the live mode but I never passed through getting married.

I usually set a long term goal, like that time i took the pleasants rivalry to extremes where Lilith turns into a good witch and Angela to an evil witch (I love the irony) with a cowplant garden where she used that evil resurrect zombie spell to continuously feed it a sim for essence. Lilith literally lived the good family life in case you are wondering

What I normally do, when playing The Sims is that I create myself and some friends I create the house and I do a lot of things with them from making them all supernatural creatures like Vampires, Mermaids or Wizards I play with them like for 2 to 3 weeks straight Everytime I have free time like getting them jobs, going on dates with other Sims and all that, after those 2 or 3 weeks I close the game for like 3 months and when I open it again I move the characters to another house in another world and repeat the cycle XD

I do it like this (I play Sims 3 (It doesn't lag for me) (I hate the loading screens in the Sims 4 and I don't own Sims 2 or 1)): 1. Choose a random world 2. Create a sim family 3. Promise myself not to cheat 4. Gets a starter house 5. Gets a job for the sim family 6. After a day goes by. 7. *USES CHEATS* 8. Leaves the game without saving.

I only play The Sims when I'm really stressed out over something. I'm stressed out about a convention happening in two weeks, so I've been playing until 5:30 am, going to sleep, waking up 1:00 pm, working on my cosplay until 7:00 pm, then playing The Sims until 5:30 am. Rinse repeat. And my play style right now... Multi-save rotation. A 100 Baby, a Shadowmoon, a Rags to Riches, and a random storyline. Lots of challenges and storylines are my go to for times of great stress.

I usually attempt legacy challenges, and occasionally make full families. I get them all set up, sometimes set up a shell of a house with very basic bare essentials. I get them set up with jobs etc. Then I play til 3am in game.

You know what's my secret? I make REAL people. I made 4 of my friends and I'm very invested. So now, I'm on the 3rd generation for each family and now I'm combining them all. The family tree is insane. And everyone gets a different job and lives in a different world. It's really cool, I've never played it like that before but now I'm in year 3 of doing it that way.

My sims also had an unfortunate and unforeseen wedding disaster (no, it's nothing to do with the wedding pack) It was the morning of the wedding and the bride and groom were getting ready (the groom slept over at our sims' house for convenience). The groom took a shower and played in the rain and the sprinkles for quite a while... then died of dehydration. That's when my sim found out they were marrying a mermaid. It was so very sad. Their wedding was less than an hour away at that point.
