Middle class staffy owner here. Unfortunately the stigma still exists. People cross the road when they see us coming. My dog has been attacked by a Labrador, Cocker Spaniel and Dachshund, all dogs that the general public would think are great family dogs.

I used to think he was funny but I seriously disagree about Staffies, they are the most Adorable loving loyal dog a family could own, the nick name nanny goes back 200 years as they would look after the kids, only 3 breeds in kc register the nick name nanny dog in history, pitbull is another! Seeing him standing there talking utter shite while people who I assume are pretending to laugh makes me believe that anyone can be a "successful" comedian. He has been around for years and I'm yet to hear him say something even remotely funny.
