Mom is encouraging this clingy stuff, by not being consistently firm. Just like human mothers who spank their 3 year old, for being a turd, then hugging the child and apologizing. Most 20 year olds couldn't find their way of a wet paper bag, when it comes time to find a job, or pay rent today, unless their parents have made sure they can handle discipline. This mother is supposed to be hyper focused on her infant, not her 2 year old, because having to care for both in an emergency, will slow her down so much, all 3 risk death. The older should be conditioned to run, fast and far, hide in a tree, when scared, not hold tight to mom.

This was one of the most unnatural things I’ve ever seen, I have never had of thousands of videos and hundreds upon hundreds of hours ever witnessed a mother put an older sibling over a newborn. This simply does not happen in the wild. For this to happen, something has severely gone wrong within the troop.

Exactly what I thought was gonna happen, the troop had to intervene and force her to stop. She should have long since been weaned. There is something very wrong, psychologically with this mother.
