8:26 it's funny because both of them missplayed so much that they could have thrown the game (well one of them did) -he used the spell to give enemy minions -2 attack only 4 times even though he could have used it 5 times (he still had 2 mana left that he didn't use for no reason at all) so the enemy minions were -8 attack meaning that the 7/7 was actually -1/7 but hearthstone translated that to 0/7 -the paladin could have won if he used blessing of kings on the former 7/7 and it would become a 3/7 giving him enough damage with his weapon to win, BUT he wouldn't have that chance if the guy used that spell for the -2 attack FIVE times because then even with Blessing of kings the former 7/7 would only be 1/7 and he STILL wouldn't have the 4 damage needed to kill him so basically both of them missplayed terribly and neither one of them deserved to win that lol

papa cesar Showing negative attack (-5) would be confusing in its own right... some people could expect the -3 attack minion to deal -3 damage, healing the target. Or some people could overlook the - and think the minion has positive attack. And since displaying negative attack would happen a WHOLE lot more than buffing a negative attack minion, it should be displayed as 0.

8:30 2 misplays here. Kelundar shouldve played the Curse 5 times. The effect stacks through buffs, so effectively the MC tech was at -5 attack but only showed 0, but he wasnt punished because the opponent played it on the MC tech instead of wurm. If he had played it on the wurm, it wouldve been lethal. 7-8+4=3 attack plus 2 from weapon. Though i guess if you've never seen that interaction it could be confusing.

I wish those videos highlighted high skill plays at least sometimes. If anyone wanted to see how to lose to opponent who did nothing, rolled 1% and autowon because of that, they would've just queued a match of hs.

Keludar should've absolutely lost that. There was no reason he didn't play the echo card a 5th time. If the paladin was a bit better, he would've buffed the wyrm, and won because it would have 3 attack. If he had played the echo card again, it would have 1 attack, which is one off lethal. Both players weren't great, which is unfortunate to see someone get celebrated when they made the wrong play But, still funny

Because from his point of view, no secret could have killed him. He didn't feel like he was in danger so he didn't play it. He knew one secret was explosive trap, but he couldn't predict that a random spell damage minion could lose him the game.

The sad thing is at 9:00 he would have won if he had used the kings on the violet wyrm, because it only had -1 attack. (And that could have been countered by Keludar having played the curse a 5th time instead of wasting the 2 mana) But neither player clearly knew what was going on, because there's NO INDICATOR that creatures ever have negative attack in Hearthstone. Another garbage design special from dear old Blizz.
