Actually no it isn't. The article brings up some of Hori and Miyamura's questionable actions (mostly Hori's actually) and points out that those actions are somewhat problematic, but praises the two of them for being willing to recognize problems they have and continuing to grow and change. The article ends with "The two are an example of young love done mostly right and manage to be realistic in the process, setting a high standard for the next hit romantic comedy to come along."

The whole"makes opening water bottles" thing reminds me of every time I try to open a jar of pickles or the peanut butter and jelly mix my dad buys me (because I told him I was too lazy to make pb&j sandwiches so I only made peanut butter sandwiches and we were in the peanut butter and jelly isle where they had a jar with a combination of the two so he just grabbed one so I couldn't use that excuse lol). I hate asking for help because I don't like talking to people (also half the time when I do this it's either late at night when everyone is asleep, I'm trying to get into the jar secretly, or both) so I eventually got fed up and started grabbing metal butter knives and putting it in between the jar and the lid and angling the knife until I either hear a pop (if the jar is unopened) or I pry it open just enough to be able to twist the lid off (if it has already been opened but it's stuck/jammed (pun not intended).
