An absolute masterpiece. One of the best and funniest films of all time. Everyone I know who saw the film laughed until they cried. The gag scene from Evans is insanely good. And the soundtrack is one of the best ever. PS: Don't forget that Charlie Chaplin and Stan Laurel also came from this very entertainment scene.

A great take on the film and some fantastic info that I had no idea about. Thank you. It remains one of my top 20 films of all time. Sucker for a tragic comedy! Lee Evans should have won awards, that performance is absolutely fucking remarkable!

I love this movie. A wonderful dark film about comedy. I think its what we would have if David Lynch had been born in Lancashire.

Luckily, Roger Ebert said it was an amazing film and he begged people to see it. I saw it. I loved it. Comedic brilliance and family drama. Jerry Lewis had daddy issues in real life. I wonder if that attracted him to the script?

A true masterpiece, l have the kino lorber blu ray, I saw it in the cinema when it came out, and was enchanted! One of my favorite movie of all time! Check it out!
