Serves him right if it's his truck. I got nailed in a parking lot once, some jerk; I guess he was surprised when he tried to back out of the parking space, and it somehow it got put behind his passenger side front wheel.

Yes there is; ten years ago my right rotator cuff was totally destroyed---inoperable, weirdest injury that any of the 14 orthopedic surgeons had ever seen---and the pain was not something that would eventually go away. Ten years and four months later, the pain is still very strong, the injured shoulder has almost no strength, and I cannot sleep on my right side because the injury also extended to my spine and the fall fractured my right hip. Not one of the injured areas has fully healed, and I live with chronic intractable pain now. A clunked shin will heal as long as the bone isn't fractured or broken, but this...this will never go away.
