FUNNY FILIPINO PHRASES

The Filipino language is crazy! It is full of English and Spanish words and sometimes it all gets mixed up. During my time there I learnt 3 funny filipino phrases that should not be confused with their English counterparts!

This happened to Spanish too in the Philippines, siyempre in PI means of course, kasilyas means toilet, etc. the latest fad is using the word “more” after “pa” 😱

Quand je suis arrivé je disais tagalog tout le temps, mais ici tout le monde dit filipino...Les gens m'ont expliqué qu'il n'y a qu'une région où le Tagalog est la vraie 'langue maternelle' et ils ont quasiment tous un dialecte local donc ils préfèrent utiliser le terme filipino.
