Years ago my wife, and I and our six month old German shepherd took a walk up a deserted beach on the east coast of NZ. Unbeknown to us there were a few sheep grazing on the side of this steep grassed slope. The dog took off up that hill and expertly herded three of those sheep back down to sea level onto a reef, at low tide of course and lay on the sand waiting for us to arrive. She had never seen a sheep before but looked very pleased with herself. Amazing dogs.

@funnypetslife67911 there was something he would do, that was funny. My daughter would walk all around our fenced yard. Will,she stopped all of sudden and Flash ram his nose right in her butt. She turned around and smaked him. And she said STOP it Flash. It was so cute. By the way Flash was a white German Shephard.

Yes and they will gladly die for your safety My last GSD was a night dog loved to walk at night short version wife took Her out-Princess word not allow her to move forward with a deep growl, Wife said what's the matter, someone hiding in the trees tried to move forward, bad move.....Bad Person we later found out.

Its unbelievable how smart dogs are!! My German Shepard puts his toys away!, when hes done playing with them,& we didnt tell him to! I found out he can jump 5ft !!!

A Bored GSD is a bad GSD they need LOTS of exercise A 200 am walk in the cemetery, was my last routine. Suck it up you are going for a walk, or your best boots will be destroyed. My mistake was saying want to check the news (walk term with her nose) 14 years god do I miss her......

It bothers me that in so many of these videos, supposedly talking specifically about German Shepards, whoever makes them doesn't seem to understand that German Shepards and Belgian Malinois are two entirely different breeds. >=(
