Tyr left because one they didnt want to develop his charactrr in a positive way. He constantly remained that potentialy treacherous barbarion. The actor wanted to break out of that deadend role but the new director that replaced the old one eouldnt allow it. Instead he denigrated the character and gave Hunt more attention. They originallu planned for Tyr and Beka to get together but didnt believe audiences would like a black white couple

No one ever thinks of striking while their opponents are removing their jackets. Think of it-their hands are wrapped in fabric so their own strikes will be cushioned, and if they have not yet pulled the first hand out, they are essentially cuffed. Run behind them, reach down the middle of their backs between their body and their jacket, and twist in a vertical circle so their arms are caught in the shoulders and they can’t slip the sleeves off. Then pull the jacket up, trapping their arms behind them. They can’t reach their weapons, and you are mostly out of range of their feet. If they try to kick, just kick their other leg out so they fall hard on one knee and wrench the other hip. Even if they are double jointed or have pre-dislocated shoulders, it will be easy to control their movements and counter their counters. But then you wouldn’t have a big fight scene.
