Can you imagine Cameron's grades in high school, with her computer brain and physical abilities, but lack of social grace and an imperfect grasp of English? I am sure Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Math would all be perfect grades. Maybe Computers too. A little less on History and Literature. And then she tries acting class, but flunks it. Too wooden with flashes of emotion. Dance would be good, but she is a little mechanical. And then she tries for the track team and wins everything. But she can't swim so that's out. If you think about it creatively, this entire show completely retcons the last 2 movies unintentionally. The original promise of the show was that something drastic happens that forces the future soldiers to take John and Sarah out of their decade and placing them 10 years into the future. We later learn that it was actually a series of drastic changes that forced the decision to occur. Maybe one of those occasions was the incident in the last terminator movie.
