Sam. No, the rule is that the cue ball can jump, only if it hits the near side of the ball on first. If it hits the opposite side of the intended ball, it is a foul. If it completely clears a ball, it's a foul no matter what it hits first.

Poomjaeng isn't that bad. His highest ranking was 37 and he was on the Main tour for 6 years and almost got back there after Q school. He isn't one of the better break builders but he is a very good safety and tactical player. But he really needs to improve his potting game.
