We had Atlantis Marine Park in Perth WA, decades ago, and on one visit, as a kid, I was fortunate enough to be chosen from the audience to meet and receive a big kiss from Popeye the sea lion. I’m almost 50 now and I still cherish that amazing encounter! Bless

Animals must be very perplexed by us hoomans. This guy thinking I just do a few things and this creature throws food to me. Wow. In the wild, they have to exert so much energy and smarts to catch their prey. This must feel awesome to them. No wonder they get attached to us so easily.

That perfectly adorable sea lion should be released to the wild in its own natural habitat with its own kind. It shouldn't be trapped in a Sea Lion Show forever having to perform endless tricks for people. It deserves to be released back into the ocean or whatever.
@st1ckyf1ngaz8 жыл бұрын
I totally agree with you, and dislike seeing animals used as slaves for human entertainment; however, this Sea lion was probably born into captivity, or taken from its natural habitat at a very young age. It probably hasn't ever had to hunt for its own food, or fend for itself, so therefore probably wouldn't survive long in the wild unfortunately.
@thehandgrenade34918 жыл бұрын
If it's releases it will die the first HOUR!
@UhOhUmm7 жыл бұрын
Except these animals aren't used for entertainment. They are used for learning and understanding. Just humans learn better when you present them with entertaining/interesting information you can probably blame evolution on that one. If there were no animals in zoo's and amusement parks there would be less kids getting interested in biology and animal preservation to help all the actually wild animals.

Don’t hate the parents who bring there children , we all were babies once . And they too have a right to enjoy a show . Now how morally right it is to enjoy an animal show like this is also a question we as human kind ought to question. These animals are not domesticated and we have no need for them nor they for us . Circuses & zoos sickens me , we need actual conservation not just entertainment shows .
