If i watched this as a younger kid(5 or six years old) this is what it would sound to me: In the shadow dark night where anything or anyone could get you, there was a dark street with no lights on. On the dark street with no lights on, there was a dark house where mysterious figures live. In the dark house, there was a dark cellar where there were poisonus bugs and maybe snakes and in the dark cellar, there were skeleton demons waiting to *EAT YOUR FACE OFF* (i was an anxious child)

I used to read the books in primary school thinking I was brave to my friends because it used to be a horror book for us..... but now it is kinda of a horror thing....like trippy horror. Also that song about the....leg bone is connected to the....something bone and the other bone is connected to the.... yeah. I swear it originated from this.

@SummerDarlington Aren't you just wearing nostalgia goggles? On their own merits I don't think old cartoons are all that impressive at all. If they were, they would be more popular and they wouldn't have been replaced with modern cartoons. There's a difference between genuine artistic merits and what gives you fond memories from the time you had lower standards. It's often hard to tell the difference. By the way, how much do you really know about modern cartoons?
