Even I am from Kangra and in Ranital. Though I have lived all over the world but I am back in Himachal. I know it was nagarkot, in Delhi there was a nagarkot society where my parents were a member. Also my mother is from syota which is near nagrota suriyan. I am in Himachal right now. If anyone is from Kangra then you probably have seen my thar jisme Rialch likha hai, that’s my last name.

To people from Northern plains, naun ( नौण ) is similar to a bawdi/baoli( बावड़ी ) , a step well. The kangra valley is known for it's fresh water springs.
