I remember watching this as a kid and being very confused at the conclusion involving the screech masks. I'm still confused. Does anyone know the actual explanation? Also, how did Bayside acquire hundreds of Screech masks? It seems like making all of those custom masks would be more expensive than the camcorder. And lastly, I know this is a petty point of contention, but did nobody attempt to repair the camcorder rather than replace it? It was only dropped on the ground. In other episodes of saved by the bell, Slater repaired a convertible and screech made all sorts of sci-fi inventions. It's hard to believe soldering a camcorder back together would be out of their wheelhouse.
