One of the saddest videos I've ever seen. Poor Mama! Losing all of her puppies was devastating, but her being so overwhelmed with grief & guilt that she wanted to join them was heartbreaking. The last shot of Mama's tearful eyes made me want to hug her & tell her, "It's not your fault. Don't blame yourself." Thanks to the rescuer for saving Mama & burying her puppies with the dignity that they deserve. RIP, babies. You're at the Rainbow Bridge, where you can watch over Mama, until she sees you again. 😇😇😇😇😇😇🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐾🐾🌈🌁

I respectfully disagree. Hiding the truth from Mama would've caused even more pain because she might've kept believing that her puppies were still alive. Mama needed the truth, as harsh as it was, in order to grieve and start to heal.

No pregnant dog should be allowed to roam unattended in the first place. It is the sole responsibility of the locals to look after that dog, even if it is not their own dog, to ensure the babies are well tended to and in a clean and safe environment. There really is no forgiving the people that live in that area and would be more than aware of that mother dog roaming the streets pregnant looking for food. Those babies would not have died if the mother had been treated nicely by the locals. My heart bleeds for her. She really didn't understand that they were dead when she went to the grave. She herself would be very young like a few years old so how could she. Their souls went into another being within 30 minutes of passing so they are fine, but that poor mum isn't.

I respectfully disagree. If Mama hadn't seen her puppies buried, then she might've kept believing that they were still alive & wondering where they were. The quicker Mama learned the truth, as painful as it was, the sooner that she could at least begin to heal, with proper love and care.

*If I had been that man, I would have advertised for a pup needing a mother dog to see if there were any such cases in the neighbourhood. If there was a motherless pup or two, she could have taken on that role and it would have made her feel complete after the horror of losing all her babies.* I also wouldn't have held the baby near her or taken the mother to where the baby was buried. That would be too sad a situation for the mum to cope with. Yes she would have been sad either way, but not having that mental image of her baby being buried would have been better.
